LifeVac Emergency Anti-Choking Device
The LifeVac device was invented after a 6 yo child died after choking on a grape and was unable to be saved by conventional first aid measures.
The device is simple to use (even on yourself) and can also be used on people in wheelchairs, where conventional first aid measures cannot. The device generates a negative pressure of more than 3 times the best first aid technique and does not rely on air still being present in the person'e lungs (as is the case with first aid measures).
The LifeVac uses a patented one-way valve assembly to ensure that the obstruction is not pushed further down the person's airway during use. The LifeVac kit comes with a variety of masks to fit children of 12 months of age, right up to the large adult.
LifeVac is easy to use, with a simple place-push-pull action and is ideal for the home but also for schools, preschools, day care centres, aged care facilities, group homes, restaurants and as part of a first-responders essential emergency kit.
The device is listed on the ARTG as a Class 1 Medical Device in Australia and is sold through the LifeVac website www.lifevac.net.au or by calling 1300 890 345. The LifeVac is sold in a variety of package presentations to suit your requirements.
