DIMAX Z+ Coating removes the need for sleeving ductile iron pipe and provides an all-round, active and self-healing protective layer. Using aluminum, zinc and a small percentage of rare earth metals, the factory applied Z+ Coating allows the pipe to withstand aggressive Australian soils.

DIMAX Z+ Coating maximises pipeline service life while significantly decreasing cost and time. Hot sprayed directly onto the preheated ductile iron pipe at a density of 400g per m2, then finished with a layer of Synthetic Resin to a thickness of 100μm. To achieve active protection, a finishing external Synthetic Resin paint layer is applied at an optimum thickness to complete the corrosion protections system.
