Barton 1792 Sweet Wheat is a great expression of our favourite type of bourbon. If you‘re partial to a Maker’s Mark or have been lucky enough to try a Weller, Old Fitzgerald or Pappy you’ll get a real kick out of this.

On the nose, we get a nice blend of young and old wood notes, with touches of black cherry, vanilla, orange, and a slight hint of spice. The palate is sweet and dry with the typical bourbon flavours of vanilla and caramel complemented by hints of dried fruit, pine, and walnuts. The finish is mildly complex and pleasant with toasted grains, toffee, leather, oak, spice and dark fruit.

Small-batch wheated bourbons are few and far between in Australia. Our limited number of bottles will go fast so jump in quick if like us you’re sweet on wheat!
