What is the Water Day?
Every year on March 22nd, World Water Day is commemorated. It is an annual United Nations Observance that celebrates water and draws awareness to the 2 billion people who do not have access to safe water. It began in 1993. World Water Day's main goal is to motivate people to take action to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: clean water and sanitation for all by 2030. This year, the theme is groundwater: making the invisible, visible. It drives us to the notion that groundwater is invisible, but its blessing is visible. Groundwater provides nourishment for springs, rivers, lakes, and wetlands, as well as seeping into oceans. There would be no life without groundwater and here’s for tips for you to see how this water day reminds you to be grateful for life and what you can do better for it:Tips to Celebrate the Water Day
