What is the Water Day?
Every year on March 22nd, World Water Day is commemorated. It is an annual United Nations Observance that celebrates water and draws awareness to the 2 billion people who do not have access to safe water. It began in 1993. World Water Day's main goal is to motivate people to take action to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: clean water and sanitation for all by 2030.
