When you bite into fresh, properly prepared Japanese food, it tends to bite you back. And never really lets go. Once it has its teeth in you, you’ll often find yourself wondering when you’ll get your next fix of sashimi, sushi, katsu, ramen….

So when owners Shelley and Kenny moved to Perth, they very soon found themselves craving the good, honest food they’d fallen in love with in Japan. After many years of rather ordinary dining experiences, they had no choice but to open their own. Such is the power of the Japanese food craving.

In 2003 they brought a little piece of Japan to Allendale Square on St Georges Tce - to share with you. The demand grew and so did Zen Saki. In 2010 Shelley and Kenny brought traditional Sapporo Ramen to Barrack St.

You’ll find every dish prepared with the freshest produce, using traditional Japanese techniques. Our specialty soups and sauces are all made from basic ingredients in-house, our chicken, beef, salmon and vegetables are delivered fresh daily and we never, ever, use preservatives. Enjoy.
