From 1957, Unist has been producing Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) solutions that are required for metal cutting. Unist’s MQL solutions apply a minute quantity of better lubricant such as Unist’s Coolube® straight into the work piece/cutting tool interface resulting in reduced fluid usage, safer & cleaner floors and shops, and enhanced tool life and cut quality. Other benefits of these lubricants include dry, clean chips for easy and profitable recycling, the removal of expensive coolant handling equipment and coolant discarding costs, besides a potential 20-50% rise in the production rates.
