The Railway Hotel, located at 29 Chapel Street, Windsor, has been proudly owned by the Sullivan family for over 30 years and has just undergone an extensive renovation. The hotel features the only 24 hour bottle shop in Victoria and is open 365 days a year. Offering a wide range of products including over 600 wines, 100 sparkling wines, over 190 beers and ciders and over 360 spirits there is always something available to suit your needs.
The Deck Bar is open 7 days a week from Midday to late and offers a relaxed and informal environment. Our restaurant, Highline, offers a formal dining experience and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 6pm to late. Our head chef, Simon Tarlington, uses fresh produce sourced from our farm, Oak Valley. Oak Valley is situated 140km's North East of Melbourne in the picturesque Strathbogie Ranges overlooking the Goulburn Valley. Oak Valley has 600+ Angus cattle and 100+ Dorper ewes grazing on over 2000 acres of native and naturally improved pastures using locally sourced poultry manure.
Our General Manager, Peter McCormack, has over 20 years experience in the Australian Meat industry managing boning rooms abattoirs and small goods plants across Australia. His knowledge of the Australian Meat Industry is extensive and this is used to assists Simon in sourcing the best quality meat for the kitchen at The Railway. Peter was pivotal in launching Sow Stall Free Pork in Australia and Free Range Pork at Coles Supermarkets.
