The Kitchen Company is Canberra’s own custom kitchen and laundry renovation specialist. We are locally owned and operated and offer Canberra exceptional quality kitchens and laundries to suit any size
The Kitchen Company began in a suburban garage in 1981 by Peter Batley. The business grew quickly through word-of-mouth, and our customers appreciated our dedication to exceptional service and high standards in design and manufacture.
The business is now owned and run by Peter’s son, Adam and his wife, Charlotte. We operate out of a state-of-the-art showroom and workshop in Fyshwick, employing 20 local Canberrans and using many local suppliers. We strive to maintain this reputation now and into the future, as our customer satisfaction has made us what we are today.
The Kitchen Company offers Canberra’s largest kitchen showroom with four experienced designers.
We also employ many qualified and apprentice cabinet makers and joiners. We offer full trade management with all plumbers, electricians, plasterers, tilers and demolishers available.
The Kitchen Company has also contributed to Canberra’s community and building industry for a number of years through vocational placements, new apprenticeships/traineeships and various charity organisations.
