The Gem has been a pioneer in American style BBQ and Southern fare since 2012, garnering a reputation as an unpretentious and customer focused venue.Remaining true to the classic pub staples, we upped the Southern-style ante early on by importing a custom made klose pit from Houston, Texas, way before BBQ became a 'thing!'
With the recent addition of chef Tanya Bertino from the accomplished Station Hotel in Footscray, The Gem is now taking it to the next level.
