The Australian Aviation Heritage Centre

The Australian Aviation Heritage Centre located in Winnelie exhibit a massive B-52 bomber along with other military aircraft, engines in the 1942 air raids on Darwin.
The Australian Aviation Heritage Centre has 38 major displays, crashed aircraft relics and 19 aircraft on display. The Aviation Heritage Society a Non-profit association continually updating the exhibitions with the help of their enthusiastic volunteers. One of the aircraft include is the B-25 Mitchell Bomber. There are Mirage and Sabre jet fighters and a Royal Australian Navy Wessex helicopter that helped in the clean-up of Darwin after Cyclone Tracy struck.
