Sea Salt House is an attractive, self-catering house in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Stanley offering ideal accommodation for visitors to this beautiful part of Tasmania. There are three bedrooms – two with Queen beds and one with twin beds – two spacious bathrooms, a modern kitchen and comfortable sitting area to relax in. A full-length verandah overlooks Stanley and the Bass Strait where you can sip a drink and watch the sunset. Provisions for a light breakfast are provided to start your stay.
Your days can be spent surfing, fishing, wandering the often deserted beaches collecting shells, taking a cruise to watch seals frolic in the Bass Strait or a tour to the famous Tarkine wilderness. Or you can visit the penguin rookery at nearby Godfrey Beach or hit a golf ball around a great nine-hole golf course. There are excellent restaurants and cafes in the village and the Stanley Hotel just across the street or you can sit on your own verandah sipping a cold beer or a frosty white wine as you eat you fish and chips from the local excellent seafood shop.
