Ian Braham studied Design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of
Technology, (RMIT) between 1979 and 1981 and upon completion
immediately commenced as a retail designer within the design office of a
large national exhibition and shop fitting company. Rising to the head of the
design department after 4 years, he then moved to Cato Design, the largest
graphic design company in Australia at the time, to start up a new Built
Environment department.
After 2 years of National and International design work with some of the
largest corporate companies, Ian started his own design company, Idee
Design. Idee continued client work from Cato Design with the likes of
Australian Airlines in the design of their terminals, retail outlets and offices
throughout Australia.
In 1999, lan along with another partner created Rationale Retail Solutions P/L.
A design and strategy company focused on National chain store rollouts.
Rationale was involved in the start up Officeworks superstores concept and
other Coles Myer business.
Over the last 10 years, Ian has been focused on his own property developments and continues working for a small select group of clients
