Whether you live in Quilpie, are staying with us or just passing through, The Imperial is a must with our delicious menu available for Lunch and Dinners Monday to Saturday and on Sunday's come down and enjoy one of our amazing Pizza's. All of our meals can be enjoyed in our dining room or as counter meals.

The Original Imperial Hotel was built in 1925 by Jim and Harry Corones. It was a grand two-storey wooden building and was the first two-storey building to go up in Quilpie.
The Imperial Hotel was run for many years by Jim and his wife, Vassilia Corones. After his death, Jim Corones was buried in the Quilpie Cemetery.
The Original Imperial Hotel burnt to the ground in the early hours of the morning on 18th January 1992. The owners at the time, Bill and Lyn Basket had the pub rebuilt and the new Imperial Hotel was officially opened on 3rd August 1992 by Sir Wallace Rae, a former Member for Gregory.
We have eight rooms available catering to single, double and families with our two family rooms.
Our donger style rooms are all furnished with a TV, Fridge, Toaster and Kettle, Air-conditioning and Heaters, as well as ensuite facilities.
