Since 1991, our small family run business has grown from a producer of gourmet smoked meats to include a Smokehouse Cafe, Wily Trout cool climate wine range, farm shop, cellar door and rustic wedding location.

The business began in 1991 when Susan and Robert decided to convert the Bruce family’s grazing property into a space that was perfect for a country smokehouse.
Since then, the business has grown to include its own cool climate wine range, farm shop and cellar door, and a successful café, function space and wedding location – all set in the glorious surrounds of the original weatherboard farmhouse.
Poachers Pantry has earned a reputation for its quality products, wonderful food and great customer service.
The Poachers Pantry range of smoked goods are now sold to Australia’s leading restaurants, enjoyed by Qantas travellers and are available to buy at a growing number of quality grocers in the ACT, NSW and Victoria.
Poachers Pantry employs locals and supports farmers and producers all over NSW and Victoria.
