We have been operating in the North Queensland region since 1992 and in that time have been involved in a wide variety of commercial, industrial and multi-residential building projects.
Phoenix commenced operation in 1992 with directors Barry Marsh and Bob Evennett bringing both a building and professional background to the new commercial building company.
Barry was well known in the North Queensland building industry with over 25 years service as a carpenter, foreman and project manager with various well respected North Queensland building companies while Bob Evennett had a strong association with many of Townsville’s engineering and architectural consultants having been a long term supervising engineer and contracts manager with two of the city’s major consulting engineering practices.
The high profile of Barry and Bob allowed Phoenix to hit the ground running and with a strong commitment to honest and open relationships with consultants and clients the company has continued to grow along with North Queensland. With Barry’s retirement from the company in 2011, Bob’s eldest son, Nathan Evennett has taken over the shared directors duties with Bob in the every day running of Phoenix. Nathan’s employment with the company since 2000 as a project manager has enabled him to follow on with and maintain the honest and open relationships with consultants and clients.
