NSW Home Support Services

Hospital - North Boambee Valley, NSW
NSW HSS (formerly Coffs Coast Health and Community) has been delivering progressive and innovative community care solutions in the community for nearly quarter of a century.
NSW Home Support Services was founded by Trish Plunkett in 1991.
Trish is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of clinical & administrative experience having worked extensively throughout remote and regional NSW…taking her three children, Allison, Matt & Jen, foll owing her husband Jim Plunkett to his various appointments as a School Teacher in towns such as Wollongong, Wee Waa, Narrabri & Wyong.
After moving to Coffs Harbour in 1980 (Jim’s hometown & birthplace) & prior to starting Coffs Coast Health & Community Care (CCHCC) Trish was employed for 10 years as the Nursing Unit Manager of the Coffs Harbour Base Hospital Community Nursing team. It was during this time that Trish identified a need for additional services in the local aged care community which in turn led to her establishing Coffs Harbour Home Nursing Service, as it was known then.
