ABOUT US
On September 14th, 1984 four local families got together and bought an empty car yard and converted the unusual L-shaped building into a successful Mitre 10 hardware and garden outlet.
The L-shaped Mitre 10 has gone from strength to strength. Over the years there has been several
layout, colour scheme and uniform changes keeping up with the times.
On the 1st August 2005 there was a change in ownership. Proprietors Ray Fitzgerald, Alwyn Marschke and Glen Thiess sold the store to David Tullock who is still the current owner of the hardware store today.
After 26 years of trading as Price Street Hardware Mitre 10 our biggest change happened in 2010 when we resigned from the Mitre 10 buying group. On the first July 2010 we became an Independent Hardware Store trading as Nambour H Hardware, with the official opening weekend on 17th & 18th July. Nambour H Hardware is now part of the Hardware and Building Traders (HBT) buying group. Being an independent hardware store this gives us the flexibility to purchase products at more competitive prices.
Nambour H Hardware specialises in hardware, garden and homewares and while most locals are aware of that what most may not know is that it also has a fantastic range of kitchenware.
