Mille Vini, a thousand wines in Italian, is one of Sydney’s most-loved wine bars having opened in 2005. Nestled in an 1853 heritage-listed stonemason’s workshop on busy Crown Street, Mille Vini celebrates all things Italian from the rustic food created by well-known chef John Lanzafame, to the mostly Italian wine list and the thoughtful yet efficient service. Mille Vini welcomes you to simply pop by for an aperitivo or stay for dinner to enjoy a menu created for sharing with friends. Because that’s what they do back home and what we like to do at Mille Vini.
Mille Vini’s menu is brimming with rustic Italian fare and takes diners on a journey to southern Italy and back. Expect to find food big on flavour cooked from the best of the season. Stuzzichino or ‘dishes to share’ play a major part with antipasto, bambino bruschetta and pasta all having supporting roles.
