Hello, I’m Kate!

I’m driving my Little Red Nissan X-Trail on a solo road trip through the eastern states of Australia. I am also hoping to raise awareness for some of my favourite charities along the way.

According to the Smart Traveller website, our international borders remain closed until 17 March 2021, so us Aussies have no choice but to see our own country!

After travelling to 40 countries and living in the UK, Canada, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, I guess it’s about time to explore my own. Join me, along with thousands of other Australians who probably have the exact same idea, as I write an old-fashioned travel blog.

My adventures will include lots of driving, drone photography, taking yoga classes, drinking coffee, hiking mountains, ocean swimming, taking myself out to dinner, seeing live music and ~~kissing~~ meeting cowboys.

I like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. Eternal gypsy. No fixed address. Indefinite time frame.
