Katherine Museum based in Katherine collects and preserves the region's cultural heritage and artifacts.
The Katherine Museum displays significant stories of our past history. Bringing to life the dramatic past for visitor learning. This can be seen through various displays, interpretive boards and audio-visual media. The visitor can browse compilation books of old newspaper clippings and articles and discover the diverse knowledge of our local area.
The Museum encourages the community of Katherine to bring their families and friends to experience the diverse history. We encourage the community to come to our events and functions to support the Museum. Each year the Museum holds a community event for families as a thank you for their support.
