Jirsch Sutherland was formed by Roderick Mackay Sutherland in 1984 to operate as a specialist insolvency practice. Jirsch Sutherland was formed to fulfil a specific purpose. Large accounting and legal firms have long had the benefit of in-house insolvency and turnaround capabilities and more recently, in-house forensic accounting skills.
