At the age of only 19, James O'Brien is taking the Perth music scene by storm.

Since graduating from Hale School in 2016, James has been involved in a wide range of musical projects, spanning a multitude of genres, from Latin (Nueva Salsa Orchestra), to Hip-hop (Premiss), to Jazz (WA Youth Jazz Orchestra) and more. This musical versatility has allowed him to share the stage with many brilliant musicians, including Kate Ceberano, Matt Jodrell, Jamie Oehlers, Ellen Kirkwood, and Hyclass.

James is currently studying a Bachelor of Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
