Lawyer JAMES IRVING’s main areas of practice are drafting and reviewing contracts, assisting existing and start-up businesses with their set up (corporate documents; suite of agreements), and preparing Wills. James has worked as a lawyer in three States of Australia and in New York, USA, after passing the NY Bar Exam. He has worked both in private law firms and in government departments. He holds Bachelor of Laws, Master of Arts and Master of Laws degrees and has written a book on freedom of expression in Australia and international human rights law. James is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, small-business networking groups, a volunteer at the Sussex Street Community Law Service (Victoria Park, WA), and a member of the Australian Red Cross Friends of International Humanitarian Law group. He provides legal information to the public via a blog and an online forum and regular tweets via our @irvinglawAU Twitter feed.
