Our Educators

Our educators are chosen for their commitment to quality child care and their capacity to work as a team. Indigo educators are selected for their knowledge, qualifications, experience, professionalism and love for teaching. They are diverse and interesting people whose backgrounds are reflective of the increasingly multicultural nature of Australia. To keep up to date educators are also supported to develop and obtain further professional qualifications in the field of child care services and education. A full list of educators’ qualifications and their registration status is posted in the foyer of each centre for your information.

Our Support

Our service is assisted by a strong office team who provide guidance and advice to our educators so that they can focus on what they do best – provide education and care for you and your family. A dedicated operations manager visits our service regularly to mentor the team and monitor the effective implementation of service policies and procedures.

Our preschool program has also been designed with the support and assistance of three University Qualified Early Childhood Teachers with combined Primary School Teaching training and experience. This ensures a comprehensive learning experience to prepare children for Kindergarten.

Our vision is to provide a strong and stable foundation for children to experience care and development through a combination of expert staff, purpose designed leading facilities and educational programs to stimulate self-esteem, social and communication skills, creativity and a connection to the natural environment. We always aim to be at the forefront of the industry by providing truly great education and resources for children and attracting excellent staff by being an employer of choice.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy guides our practices and curriculum decisions. The creation of this philosophy is a collaborative process that engages with all those that utilise the service including team members, families, the children and seeks input from the wider community. We also ensure we are always meeting best practice industry standards and keeping up to date with the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and related National Law and Regulations.
