Imlay House is a residential aged care facility (nursing home) in Pambula, on the Far South Coast of NSW.

Imlay House is a residential aged care facility (nursing home) in Pambula, on the Far South Coast of NSW. It is situated in Merigan Street Pambula, conveniently located close to all local services including hospital, shops, airport and clubs. It is a welcoming and tranquil home with qualified professional staff who provide high quality care to residents.

Imlay House is owned by the local community. It is a not-for-profit organisation overseen by a Board of Directors who are all volunteers. The home opened in 1985 with 52 beds. A further building program saw the opening of the McPherson wing in 1998, and the Caris Roarty wing was completed in 2007. The foundation of Imlay House began in 1980 by a committee of concerned local citizens, and has subsequently been supported financially by the Imlay District Nursing Home Opportunity Shop. Over the past 30 years, the "OP Shop" has raised over $1,000,000 to support the nursing home. An active Ladies Auxiliary also supports Imlay house.

The home is fully compliant with Aged Care Accreditation Standards and has achieved 3 years' accreditation.

The General Manager is Helen Ellwood, who is a very experienced aged care manager. Helen has practised as a physiotherapist, and has postgraduate management qualifications. She has managed services for a large disability organisation, and was a senior manager in the Departments of Veterans' Affairs and Health and Ageing. Prior to her appointment at Imlay House, Helen worked for 10 years as an assessor with the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency.

Rhonda Innes is the Care Manager. She is a very experienced registered nurse, with postgraduate qualifications in Gerentology, Rehabilitation Counselling, and Education. Rhonda has worked at Imlay House since 2001. Prior to her appointment as Care Manager, she was the Educator and Continuous Quality Improvement Co-ordinator at the nursing home. Rhonda taught Aged Care at TAFE for 10 years. She has worked as a rehabilitation consultant, and practised as a registered nurse in both hospital and hospice settings.

Imlay House employs over 100 staff, many of whom have been staff members for many years. Volunteers and community groups visit regularly.
