The bistro at The Mercantile is the ever-popular Hungry Hewer. A Hewer is the name for someone who cuts coal and removes it from a coalmine, one of the toughest jobs there is. So regardless of how big your appetite is, the Hungry Hewer has a hearty meal to satisfy you!

Accommodation includes 16 rooms, from $80 for single rooms with shared facilities, through to $140 for double/twin rooms with ensuite bathroom and spa. All tariffs include full breakfast.
