Hawkesbury Valley Heritage Tours is a family business run by Carol Roberts and her husband Geoff.
Together, they are members of Hawkesbury Historical Society, the Friends of the Hawkesbury Art Community & Regional Gallery and Kurrajong- Comleroy Historical Society, as well as the National Trust, Historic Houses Trust and National Gallery.
Carol worked in government administration for many years and has had a life-long interest in music, art and history. She is a qualified tour guide with a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Australian History), an Advanced Diploma in Local, Family & Applied History and is currently completing a Master of History.
Geoff has lived in the Hawkesbury area for more than 30 years. Having formerly worked for CSIRO as a building scientist, he has practical experience in conservation and renovation of listed historic buildings.
Keenly interested in local history, Geoff is a pastel artist with an architect's eye for detail. As a member of Windsor Rotary Club, he also finds time to help out with many projects providing services for the community.
