It is part of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a global Protestant Christian denomination. The church seeks to advance the kingdom of God in West Knoxville by living and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6–12 in anticipation of Christ's imminent return.
