The Gorge Wildlife Park started in 1965 and is still managed by the same family. Placed on 14 acres of land, beneath the leafy trees, paths meander among one of the biggest exclusively owned collections of Australian and exotic creatures, reptiles and birds in the country. The park provides you a closeup and personal experience with wildlife.
Our aim is to let you see a wide range of animals such as birds from Fairy Wrens to Ostriches and everything in between, some in enclosures yet numerous free flying including a free range community of rainbow lorikeets; reptiles such as snakes, lizards, frogs, and mammals in our recent reptile house. Some very attractive displays that will put you looking for more. Australian and exotic animals, you will see all your favourite Aussie animals such as wombats, dingos, tasmanian devils, echidnas and more. Walk between and feed the kangaroos and wallabies and enjoy while cuddling by one of our koala.
