Gorenang Moortabiin Aboriginal Engagement & Community Development (Aboriginal Corporation) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that covers the Great Southern Region of WA and was co-founded in 2020 by Elder Mr Ezzard Flowers and Ms Paula Foenander.

Gorenang is a composite of the Goreng and Minang Noongar language groups and Moortabiin means ‘bringing families and communities together’.

Gorenang Moortabiin is a regional Aboriginal corporation that specialises in Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal community development throughout the Great Southern of Western Australia.

We have extensive networks, collaborations and partnerships that we work closely with to provide a range of diverse insights and outcomes for individuals, families and communities.

Gorenang Moortabiin is able to engage, implement, deliver and evaluate a vast range or services and programs, whilst ensuring that culture and inclusiveness is up front and centre in everything we do.

We host a range of community based programs at our office. After school youth programs, Women's sewing and crafting program, Mens "Deadly Living" program.

We also hold free school holiday youth camps and host a community soup-kitchen every third tuesday of the month which is open to everyone.

Gorenang Moortabiin has also just opened an online Noongar (Aboriginal) gallery, Baranga Maditjil (Totem Magic). To promote the artists and artisans of the Great Southern region internationally.
