George Street Medical Centre is located on street level in the central business district of Brisbane only a short walk to Brisbane's main CBD shopping district, and with easy access to Brisbane's main train station, Roma Street. Previously Top of the Mall Medical Centre, the practice relocated to the present position in July 2008. The practice caters to a wide range of business people, city workers, pensioners and parents and children living or working in the nearby area.
There are five doctors at the practice supported by a registered nurse/manager, a part time registered nurse and two reception staff. A Discount Drug Store Pharmacy is attached to the surgery. All doctors are experienced senior doctors and the Practice Principal Dr Henry Douglas has been practicing in George Street for 30 years.
All general practice services are provided, however special interests of the practice include women's and men's health, mental health, aged care, annual medicals, preventive health care including our Wellness Clinic Medicals, skin assessments and minor skin procedures.
