Freeway Sports Centre opened its doors in 1978 with a mission to provide its members with a new and exciting fitness and health experience. Over the decades trends changed, new techniques and equipment merged and with the assistance of local health experts we kept up with them all.
The 70s brought in Bodybuilders and isolated training. 80s seen a wave of Aerobics fanatics. 90s Cardio fitness boom caused a wave of innovative equipment being developed. From the 2000s we experienced Dynamic Movement Training rise along with Zumba, TRX and more developed and improved core strength and body building techniques.
Our biggest achievement to date ........is knowing we have helped thousands within the local community to reach their personal individual goals.
