WE ARE LEADERS IN FAMILY LAW ADVICE
Based in Hobart Tasmania, FitzGerald and Browne were established in July 2001 as a firm of two lawyers and one support staff member. The office was formally opened by Justice Alan Blow, who took over as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Tasmania on 8 April 2013.
By 2015, the firm has grown to be five lawyers and 7 support staff.
We pride ourselves on helping people in the community, whether individuals or community groups. The firm has no links to State or Local Government. We have no connections with the big end of town. We work with community groups and individuals, whether in Family Law cases, community environmental issues or cases of state wide significance. Tony and Roland have each previously worked with the Legal Aid Commission of Tasmania.
