Changing Hearts - Changing the Church
Change is a gospel imperative. The word we often translate as repentance from the Greek is metanoia, meaning to change the mind, or heart (which is closer to our idiom). So as individuals we are called to continual change in our thinking and in our hearts.
The church, as the body of Christ, also needs to seek continual renewal and change in order to respond to the needs of those it serves.
