Reservations can be made for table seating online and we ask that you arrive and are seated before the performance begins. If you have missed out on a table seat or have not booked, there are some bar stools available in the bar area.

The Ellington opens half an hour before the first scheduled show time for the night (except for 3pm Sunday shows- licensing restrictions mean we can’t open before 3pm on a Sunday) and closing times may vary. We are licensed until 1am weeknights, 3am Friday and Saturday and 12am Sunday.
The Ellington Jazz Club strives to present a wide range of musical styles including jazz and jazz influenced music. We value gender equality, racial diversity and choice of sexual preference for our performers and patrons, with all being welcome. We strive to present the highest quality music possible in a safe and friendly environment for all. The Ellington is a seven night a week jazz club that presents more than 600 shows per year and is recognised as a great place to perform and listen to music.
