Durst Portraits

I love to do portraits of all kinds: distinguished people, casual family pictures, children and even dogs. I am reasonably priced and I usually work from your photos although I often take photos myself. Portrait painting adds something that is just not available in any photo. Good portrait painting can infuse an image with life and energy and depth that a photo will generally lack. This website is devoted to painting but it is much more… it is about dreams and vision and saving a smile and a glance forever. I have painted from blurry photos (even someone’s beloved deceased dog) but I do a lot better when I also take the photographs myself.
