Dr Michael Quinn Plastic Surgeon

Dr Michael Quinn started life with the Wollongong "trifecta" being schooled at Wollongong Primary, Wollongong High, and Wollongong University. Graduating from NSW University with honours, he underwent training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, rotating through Sydney's teaching hospitals. He was then awarded the FRACS

After finishing training overseas he was appointed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and soon after the Sydney Melanoma Unit (later the Melanoma Institute of Australia).

He now lives in the Southern Highlands of NSW, practising in Bowral

Dr Quinn has an enormous experience with melanoma having contributed to the world's largest database over many years. He carries out associated operations, including sentinel node biopsy and lymph node dissections.

More advanced melanoma can be managed in the Southern Highlands in a multidisciplinary approach, with imaging, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. Entry into Melanoma Institute's trials of the exciting new targeted chemotherapy and immunotherapy can be arranged.

Follow-up is carried out in the Southern Highlands.
