Dongfang Modern Agriculture Holding Group Limited was established in 2005, with a registered capital of 39 million HKD, in Xingguo County Industrial Park, Ganzhou City, China.

The company is mainly engaged in the growing, harvesting and selling of produce from 19 plantations in the Jiangxi Province PRC with most within the Ganzhou City district.

The plantations currently produce a combined output of over 200,000 tonnes pa of tangerines, pomelos and navel oranges and also camellia fruit, seed and nuts from a total of over 8600 hectares.

Dongfang Modern has an operational strategy of developing its business through astute acquisition of plantations, application of modern and high tech plantation management, superior marketing of produce and inclusion of the local economy in operations including labour and service contracting. The company carries out research and development on its plantations to improve yields, efficiency and fruit quality.

The Company has a strong commitment to product quality and has a long term strategy of acquiring plantations to increase market share in a highly fragmented market place.
