Compass Rose Counseling

Compass Rose Counseling was founded by Katie Christy in 2023. Compass Rose takes a holistic approach when treating patients. Katie has worked in the mental health field for over a decade. She has a passion for helping and supporting others. Katie is focused on helping young adults. The transition to independence and adulthood is naturally accompanied by a range of emotions - excitement, fear, anxiety, hope - it is all part of the experience. Katie works with young and middle-aged adults to help them find their own personal compass. Hence the name of the practice, "Compass Rose." Her goal for patients is to have them conclude treatment with a renewed sense of trust in themselves and in their ability to journey forward without her intervention.

In addition to her one-to-one approach, Katie also utilizes a neurofeedback system called NeurOptimal. It is a device that helps to optimize the way a patient's brain functions. This system can increase flexibility and resilience, allowing patients to feel more equipped to navigate everyday stresses.
