Collins Street Medical Centre

Dr Fiona Broderick is the Practice Principal and has owned the Practice since 1996 after buying it from the outstanding Dr Sandra Ray. Even then though the Practice was small it focused on providing high quality healthcare targeted to the individual patient.

Collins Street Medical Centre has continued to expand and now has nine Vocationally Registered General Practitioners, four Practice Nurses, a Practice Manager, five Receptionists and onsite Pathology.

We pursue excellence and all Staff participate in regular professional development and training. We have developed strong links with Hospital networks, both private and public, Specialists and Allied Health Professionals which enhances the care of our patients.

We have always provided patients with copies of all results and now also use DCP Results, an online secure way for patients to see their results with their GP's explanatory comments. This empowers our patients and helps them self manage their health.

To improve patient access we have continued to increase GP numbers and have developed the Swift Solutions Clinic for same day simple issues such as repeat scripts, immunisations and referrals.

Collins Street Medical Centre participates in the Australian Primary Care Collaborative which allows Practices around Australia to share ideas and to strive for continued improvements.
