Cleland Wildlife Park has been a leading South Australian tourist attraction since 1967. The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources(DEWNR) is focused on making a maintainable environment that can be enjoyed now and into the future by everyone.
Cleland assumes a vital part in this strategy by helping visitors connect with animals in their natural habitat. By giving an immersive nature experience, with a predetermined number of enclosures and the opportunity to get neared to some of our state's most notable animals, our visitors will learn more about the significance of preservation.
The health of our animals is our number one priority and our keepers have years of background in dealing with Cleland's population. The park is a associated with the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame after winning the 'Significant Tourism Attraction' category at the year 2007, 2008 and 2009 South Australian Tourism Awards.
