BRIEF HISTORY
Chateau Yering was purchased in February 1996 by Len and Elly Milner. Two long standing business associates, Mr Marcel Kaye and Mr Bob Pethard were invited to be co-investors.
For several years Mr and Mrs Milner had travelled extensively overseas, choosing to stay at predominantly Country House-type hotels.
Being locally based in the Yarra Valley and appreciating the history and significance of Chateau Yering it appeared to them that the property was very suitable for development as a Country House Hotel.
