Over more than 60 years, Capilano Honey has grown from humble beginnings to be one of the world’s leading honey suppliers, enjoying an enviable reputation for product innovation.
Proudly 100% Australian owned and grown, Capilano has the capacity to produce more than 45,000 tonnes of honey each year, supplying honey to more than 30 countries across the globe. All of this is possible due to Capilano’s dedicated and hardworking honey supply network consisting of more than 500 Australian Beekeeping families from all parts of Australia.
While Capilano Honey grown exponentially since 1953, the core values, established by founders J.C. (Tim) Smith MBE and his brother H.A. (Bert) Smith, of quality, innovation, safety and a true ‘hive to home’ experience continue to drive the company to this day.
This commitment has been recognised with Capilano Honey receiving multiple domestic and international awards as well as the highest certifications for safety, which are maintained thanks to pristine production facilities, highly experienced and long serving staff and Capilano’s state of the art honey laboratory SciTest – the only one of its kind in Australasia.
