Cafes - Glebe, NSW
We invite you to come and visit our lovely cafe for a dining experience that will leave you utterly charmed.
Cafe Otto was originally opened in 1990. It was a welcome addition to a family of venues that were, in that time, few and far between; a place in which one could enjoy restaurant-quality food within the comfort of a cafe space.
Unfortunately, and to the great sadness of all those associated with the restaurant, Cafe Otto was gutted by an electrical fire back in January 2010. The last two years, after many trials and tribulations, have seen the cafe undergo a complete renovation.
The brand new restaurant proudly reopened its doors to the public in February 2012 boasting a beautiful, expansive bar and a subtley developed menu which reflects the ever-evolving culture of Glebe.
Since the reopening, we have seen the delighted return of familiar faces - loyal and regular customers of the old Cafe Otto - as well as plenty of new ones. We invite you to be among them, and to come and visit our lovely cafe for a dining experience that will leave you utterly charmed.
While Cafe Otto is proud to have its own, unique character, it can also bend its identity to suit those who are looking to host private events.
Whether it is a special someone's birthday or a corporate function, Cafe Otto has the ideal space and staff to cater to your needs.
Our current menu may be used as a guide, but our chefs welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you in order to create the perfect feast for your guests. This may include a three-course meal or simply a selection of delicious canapes to be enjoyed with good wine.
