The practice was originally established in 1978 by founding partners Robert Caulfield and Ivo Krivanek as Caulfield & Krivanek Architects which later became CK Designworks with the addition of two new partners, Janusz Kowal and Domenic Crisante.
In 2014 the company was renamed C&K Architecture with partners Janusz Kowal and Domenic Crisante now leading the team. Founding partners, Robert Caulfield and Ivo Krivanek, remain closely involved with the company.
