Black Cow Bistro is an 'up market' steak house from the local Stillwater team located in the historic Art Deco Luck's butchery shop in Launceston, Tasmania.

Black Cow Bistro showcases premium dry aged, free range, grass fed, artificial hormone free Tasmania beef. Dishes are designed around fresh local produce and served in a warm bistro-style atmosphere alongside well-priced Tasmanian wines with some full-bodied red thrown in for good measure.

The steaks we offer at Black Cow Bistro have a range of flavours and tenderness. From our tenderest most delicate and lean Eye Fillet and fat studded Scotch through to the hearty Rib Eye and our more textured and very flavorful Porterhouse and Rump, our steaks are the best in Tasmania.
