Bambra House Nursing Home

Bambra House offers residential and respite care including palliative care for people with advanced and complex nursing care needs including dementia residents.

No Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs) previously known as Bonds and No Daily Accommodation Payments (DAPs) are payable at Bambra House Nursing Home regardless of the value of your assets.

Accommodation is also provided for Concessional Residents

We are a small and specialised boutique aged care residential home of 30 beds that is owned and managed by Registered Nurses who are experienced in Aged Care. The home has Registered Nurses on duty at the premises 24 hours a day.

Our dedicated staff focus on providing the highest quality individual nursing care for our residents optimising their independence and contentment. We also offer a wonderful lifestyle programme that is designed to meet each resident’s individual requirements.

Bambra House is located in an historic heritage-listed Edwardian building within an established traditional garden close to public transport (buses, trams and trains), shops and Caulfield Park. We have deliberately not created a large (and expensive) hotel-style facility but have retained our original Edwardian building so we are affordable and can provide an environment that is like a real home for our residents.

One of the great advantages of being a small aged care home with a stable and committed staff is that residents can become familiar with and get to know the staff well. Familiar faces every day provide a positive contribution to improving the resident’s sense of well-being.
