PEST INSPECTIONS

Pest Inspection for termites, wood decay and borers is carried

out separately to the Building Inspection, even though the

information obtained from the inspection often overlaps with the

findings of the building inspection. Typically it is leaks and

water that play a major role in promoting and supporting pest

activity.

Pest Inspection is a visual inspection of all accessible areas

of a home for evidence of pest activity and damage. The

inspector will visually inspect the interior and exterior of the

building including any accessible roof cavities and sub-floor

areas.

BUILDING INSPECTIONS

any significant damage to the building and needs to be carried

THERMAL IMAGING

problems which can not be detected by the naked eye.

Thermal Imaging helps in the detection of:

Excessive moisture in building materials

Stud / Joist / Beam / Rafter placement and structure

Insulation gaps, insufficient and unevenness

Electrical drops, panels, breakers, switches and wire

connections

Heating and cooling duct placement, insulation, air leaks
