Asian Gateway Family Restaurant is Darwin's oldest Thai Restaurant that also serves western and kids menu for all tastes. We are also available for takeaway and delivery service.
Asian Gateway Family Restaurant is a family-owned run restaurant. Asian Gateway Family Restaurant is headed by Wanida Tagnipis, she was born and raised in Thailand and came to Australia at the age of 15 years.
She started working in the hotel/catering industry after finishing high school. She worked in many top hotels in Darwin until she moved to Melbourne and managed one of the busiest restaurants on Melbourne's south bank near the casino.
She returned to Darwin start her own restaurant business with help of her family and Thai friends who cook authentic Thai dishes
