As you can see – we are a small Café, specialising in roasted coffee with freshly made meals using the best possible ingredients. Our food is all made daily and has the highest quality ingredients.
ABOUT
Alleycat is an intimate boutique café in a beautiful corner of Theatre Place, Maling Road Canterbury, reminiscent of cafe's hidden in squares in Europe. We have very friendly staff who really enjoy taking that extra care to make a great coffee. Our food is made fresh in store and sourced locally from small batch suppliers. On the weekends you will see French crepes being made and enjoyed by the locals & visitors. We are proud to partner with some wonderful suppliers including the Padre coffee team and Saint David’s milk among many others. While sitting outside under the awning alongside our vintage Vespa you could be anywhere in Europe.
Our food is all made daily and has the highest quality fresh ingredients. We pride ourselves that we do not use any pre-packaged food or pre-prepared meals – all our meals are made daily being baked in the morning or prepared during the day, depending upon the menu. We have a selection of regular items, starting from small snacks, and delicious freshly made soup and salads (made daily in small batches), to more substantial lunches, including Pizza, Piadina's and a large range of pastries, croissants, cakes and other delights.
OUR COFFEE
Our coffee is freshly roasted with a guarantee that the beans will always be fresh. Our blend is from ‘Padre Coffee’ who roasts their coffee daily in East Brunswick and delivered directly to us to use in our café. We are proud to be associated with Padre Coffee as they ethically source high quality single origin & blended coffee beans from farmers and traders all around the world that know the value of quality and believe - as we do - in ethical and sustainable production.
